Hi! I’m Erika, a friendly and approachable tutor with several years of experience supporting students in English and Biology, from Year 7 through to A-Level. I really enjoy helping students build their confidence and find ways of learning that work best for them. Outside of my studies, I enjoy playing basketball and football, and I love cooking, especially trying out new recipes. Hi, I’m Isabelle. I am an undergraduate student studying Biomedical Systems Engineering at the University of Warwick. While in Year 12, I helped students who were struggling with maths in booster sessions offered by my school. These were targeted at Year 11 students to ensure they were confident before their exams. During my A-levels I taught myself AS-level Further Maths as it was not a subject offered by my school. This helped me to discover effective methods to learn and understand content. I became Head Girl of my school and engaged in student council meetings, which allowed me to understand how we can help students more. My name is Gemma and I am an English and Drama Graduate from Exeter University, 2:1 with a Creative Writing Dissertation. Hello! I’m a native Spanish and Catalan teacher with more than 10 years of teaching experience and a BA (Honours) in Arts and Humanities, specialising in Spanish language and culture. I work with children, teenagers and adults at all levels. I help GCSE students who need support building confidence as well as those aiming for top grades (7–9). I also teach beginners and adults who want to learn Spanish for travel, work or personal interest. My lessons are interactive, supportive and adapted to each student’s needs. I focus on building confidence in speaking while strengthening grammar and vocabulary in a clear and engaging way. Hello! I have been a tutor for 8 years with ages 4-17 in a variety of subjects including English, History and Philosophy. I am happy to teach 11+ and English for primary school students, English, RS and History to GCSE level and I am also able to teach A- level History, Ethics and Philosophy. I have worked with children through Debate Mate teaching politics; my students competed at a national level and were extremely successful. I am very calm and patient and I can make lessons engaging for all ages. In my spare time, I meet up with my friends and my boyfriend- I love being in nature! I also spend a lot of time travelling particularly to German-speaking countries to better my language. If I’m doing none of these things then I will be at home cuddling with my kittens.
