The reason I chose to study this because it included using a lot of technical and problem-solving methods, it also included a lot of Mathematics which was one of my favourite subjects at school. I would say Algebra is one of my strong areas and I completed the Level 3 Edexcel Algebra award in secondary school. When I teach I primarily use a lot of worksheets and exam-style questions which will help the student improve on the subject and feel better prepared for any upcoming exams. If a student is struggling to understand a concept , I use diagrams, videos and allow them to have more practise until they are comfortable with the topics. I am a University of Nottingham accountancy student in my final year of studies. I have experience tutoring over the last 5 years across a range of subjects, including Physcology and Maths A level, Maths GCSE, and all GCSE sciences. I have worked with children with learning difficulties, and both high and low performing students to accelerate their learning.
