During my MSc, I worked as a Medical Physics Assistant and Research Assistant, gaining hands-on experience in both clinical and academic settings. After that, I spent a year doing research at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) – part of the United Nations – where I also gave lectures and workshops on physics and science to people of all skill levels. I’m now doing a PhD in Medical Physics at VUB in Brussels, focusing on computational and biological physics—combining research, problem-solving, and my love for teaching. Teaching has been a big part of my journey. I tutored first- and second-year students during my undergrad, taught students at GoStudent during COVID, and I’m excited to be back tutoring now. Helping others understand science is something I genuinely enjoy.
