I have been tutoring with GoStudent for almost a year now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a current Sunday-School teacher and former volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE. Hi, I'm Savannah Stanislaus, I'm 23 years old and I am a recent graduate from the University of Oxford with a BA in German. Hi, my name is Aoife, I am 18 years old and currently a first year law student at the University of Leeds (and an aspiring human rights lawyer!). My special subject is English, primarily English literature. My highest academic achievements are my 3 A levels (A* in politics, A in history, B in English literature). I am willing to tutor the English subject to all ages, especially primary and secondary as I believe this is when that extra boost in confidence is so important! My passion for English is reflected in my GCSE grades too - achieving a grade 9 in English language and grade 8 in English literature. I have previous experience with children with SEN needs such as autism and ADHD, shaping my teaching style as one of patience and prioritising clarity without exerting pressure on a student. I personally struggled with confidence in both primary and secondary school, and going through tutoring myself helped with this enormously. Hi there! I am an experienced and empathetic English Literature and Language tutor with over 5 years of experience and many success stories under my belt. I have experience teaching English Literature and English Language for the following levels and exam boards: A-Level— AQA, OCR, WJEC Eduqas; GCSE— AQA, OCR, WJEC Eduqas; Key Stage 3, as well as the 11+ exams. I'm also very interested in tutoring students at the undergraduate level. I only (fluently) speak English, and I do not have any SEN tutoring experience.
