At GCSE level, I teach Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics. At A level, I teach Mathematics, Further Mathematics and depending on the topic, Physics. In terms of exam boards, for GCSE, any exam board is good. For A level, preferably CCEA, AQA or Edexcel, but this can be discussed topicwise. I attended St. Colmcilles Primary School for 6 years and 1 year in Holy Family Primary School, before attending Christian Brothers' Grammar School in Omagh. There I did my compulsory GCSEs, as well as Geography, Spanish, Business/Communication Systems and Drama. I then went on to do my A levels there and I studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, gaining an A*AA respectively. I now study Mathematics at Queen's University Belfast.

I am currently a fourth year medical student at the University of Nottingham and hold a First Class Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree. I have been tutoring since my early high school years in a range of subjects and for a range of different academic abilities. My education ethos is to foster an enjoyment of understanding and success will follow. In terms of hobbies I'm a massive movie fan – that's basically how I spend 90% of my free time. I am a dedicated student of Mathematics and Actuarial Science with a strong passion for problem-solving and analytical thinking. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps—an approach I bring into my tutoring sessions. About you: I'm a PhD graduate and have experience teaching at a wide range of ages. I have a keen interest in films and play bridge. I have even played bridge for England. I have both a Masters degree and PhD from the University of Sheffield in mathematics. While at university I assisted in running tutorials for undergraduate students. As an assistant demonstrator I led classes through an example question at the front while encouraging them to take part in working through the problem together. Hi, I'm Chris, a recent graduate in nuclear engineering with a love of maths and physics. I help students to build confidence and improve their core understanding of maths and physics, A-Level and GCSE. I focus on breaking down complex problems into smaller, more manageable steps which helps students understand the content along with worked examples and exam questions which helps students to solve questions in an exam and achieve their goals. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Lancaster University, specialising in nuclear engineering which involved a large amount of electrical engineering and particle physics. I also hold three A-Levels in maths, physics and chemistry from Thomas Rotherham College where I achieved an A*, A and B respectively.
