Hi! My name is David and I tutor maths. I graduated from the University of Leicester in 2023 with a First in Mathematics and have been tutoring A-level students over the last three years. From experience, I can say that the best way of learning maths is by doing maths so the lessons I tutor generally involve a lot of questions which we work through together, with you the student gradually becoming more independent and me, the tutor, making sure to fill in any gaps in theory as we go along. Hi! I’m Aswin, a 5th-year medical student at Imperial College London. I tutor GCSE and A-Level Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, and also support students applying to medical school with UCAT, interviews, and personal statements. My teaching style is calm, supportive, and tailored to each student — helping them build confidence, understand topics clearly, and succeed in exams and applications. I’ve had many years of experience volunteering with schools helping students excel in subjects that they find difficult. I’ve always had a passion for science leading me to have a career in microbiology so I know tutoring biology would be a strong suit.
