Hi, I'm Shannon. I'm originally from Northern Ireland but I have lived in Scotland, France, Spain and now I reside in sunny Manchester. I have taught English, French and Spanish in Secondary Schools for the last few years. I believe that teaching cultural aspects alongside language is vital and I find that using music and TV are excellent ways to stay engaged with a language too. I completed my GCSE's at Ormiston Forge Academy where I achieved grades 9-5 in 10 GCSE subjects, including Mathematics 6 and English 7. Additionally, I did my A Levels at Forge too, I got AAAB in Mathematics, Physics, Sociology and EPQ. As a result, I have completed my BSc Honours Mathematics degree with a FIRST CLASS scoring an average of 75.17%.

Hi I’m Sina, a maths student based in Manchester. I’m most confident in maths but I love history, biology, Spanish and many other subjects so I’d be happy to tutor in any of these. For my GCSE’s I took History and Spanish along with required subjects such as Triple Science and Maths and English Language. Hi I am Mary Jo and I love teaching! I have been tutoring 6th to 12th graders for many years, as well as adults, both in English and in Spanish. I enjoy the connection that is developed from teaching and sharing lessons, working on project works and exams. The challenge of helping a student realize their full potential, participate actively in the learning process and finally achieve top results, is one of the best experiences for me. I am currently a third year university student, studying dance and creative writing. I am going onto a teaching training programme in order to achieve my pgce once I graduate this year.
