With experience in tutoring all the way up to Undergraduate level in Mathematics, Engineering and Physics, I can provide a high level of support and assistance in these fields. I am currently working towards a Doctorate in Engineering with the Universities of Exeter, Warwick, and Cranfield. After completing my A Levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Geography, I completed a bachelor’s degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering achieving a First-Class degree in which I developed a smart electronic prosthetic system using soft robotics. Alongside my academic experience, I have developed a wide portfolio in my field. From industrial experience in Formula One to renewable energy generation, Artificial Intelligent systems and plant-based wetsuit designs, I am able to provide insights and the knowledge you need pursue Science and Engineering after your A Levels and GCSEs if you wish. I don’t just tutor and research all day either! I (try to!) surf as much as I can and I also work on various wildlife film projects, many being underwater shoots. I’m not here to judge you on your abilities. There are no stupid questions. I won’t be shouting equations at you. I like to work in a relaxed and supportive environment where we can focus on your needs and targets together while tailoring the sessions for you so that we can achieve our goals. During my time on Gostudent, I have clocked several hundred sessions, setup a purpose built tutoring desk environment with multiple cameras/ lighting to aid in tutoring and taken students from low confidence and little understanding to a point where some even chose to pursue their once hated subjects at higher level and are excelling at university/ new careers. I am confident in my tutoring abilities, have been recommended by multiple parents and become invested in my students to do the best they can. It saddens me to say I will no longer be taking any new students or trial sessions while Gostudent continue with their decision not to pay tutors for trial sessions MSc in Sustainable Materials BEng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering During my time on Gostudent, I have clocked several hundred sessions, setup a purpose built tutoring desk environment with multiple cameras/ lighting to aid in tutoring and taken students from low confidence and little understanding to a point where some even chose to pursue their once hated subjects at higher level and are excelling at university/ new careers. One student was able to pass his foundation paper after multiple attempts. Another student did so well ina school test that he moved up from doing the foundation paper to the higher paper and one other student recieved the required level for his first choice of university. About you: I'm a PhD graduate and have experience teaching at a wide range of ages. I have a keen interest in films and play bridge. I have even played bridge for England. I am a dedicated student of Mathematics and Actuarial Science with a strong passion for problem-solving and analytical thinking. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps—an approach I bring into my tutoring sessions. Outside of academics, I have a keen interest in sports including football, badminton, snooker, and golf. I believe that the discipline and strategic thinking gained from sports complement my academic pursuits and enhance my ability to connect with students from various backgrounds. I'm enthusiastic about helping learners build confidence and achieve their goals in a supportive and engaging environment. I am currently studying Mathematics and Actuarial Science at the University of Southampton, where I am continuing to deepen my understanding of mathematical theory, statistical analysis, and their real-world applications. This degree is further strengthening my analytical and problem-solving skills, which I bring into my tutoring sessions. Before university, I completed my A Levels at St Dominic’s Sixth Form College, achieving an A in both Mathematics and Chemistry—subjects I now tutor. My success in these subjects has given me the confidence and insight to support students in mastering challenging concepts and developing effective exam strategies. I completed my GCSEs at Pinner High School, earning 11 GCSEs at grades 9 to 7, including top marks in Maths and the Sciences. This academic foundation has given me a strong understanding of the UK curriculum and the expectations of exam boards. Having recently been through the school and sixth form system myself, I am well placed to relate to students and provide guidance that is both up-to-date and practical. I aim to create a calm, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, tackle their weaknesses, and build confidence in their abilities.
