Hello! I am currently studying Theoretical Physics at the University of Bath. My main pastimes include hiking/camping, going to the gym, and running, so I do hope that I can relate to many of you! For me, tutoring is developing a clear understanding of subject knowledge instead of regurgitation of facts; learning should be to question and to think critically rather than to memorise. I attended Swanmore College Of Technology where I studied 10 GCSE's achieving 5 9's in (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Enterprise and marketing and English literature)- 4 8's ( Maths, Computer science, English language and History) 1 7 ( Further maths). In my A- levels I achieved an A* in Maths, an A in Further Maths, an A in Physics and an A* in an extended project qualification for which I did extensive research in quantum mechanics and furthered my understanding of the double slit experiment exponentially (in both the quantum and classical realm). Currently I am a first year undergraduate at the University Of Bath studying Theoretical Physics.

Hi! I’m Emilia, a Maths and Physics tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students gain confidence in STEM subjects. I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at A-level, and recently completed my BSc in Mathematics and Physics. I’m now continuing my studies at the University of Cambridge, where I’m pursuing a Master’s (MPhil) in Data Intensive Science. I’ve been tutoring for the past two years, working with students of all ages and abilities, from primary school through to A-level. I have recently completed my a levels in Chemistry Biology and Psychology in addition to an epq on the topic of antibiotic substitutes. I am quite keen about education and therefore want to teach other people and help them get to their full potential!!! Since I am planning to be a biology, GCSE Science and psychology tutor at both gcse and A levels, I believe it is relevant to mention that at GCSE I did triple science, achieving all 9s and also psychology, achieving an 8. I'm very enthusiastic about anything maths and science, bringing practical engineering application to life. I live in the heart of north wales, love to swim and play football. Hi! I'm currently studying Computer Science at the University of Warwick, one of the top universities in the UK. I’ve always had a strong passion for learning and teaching, especially when it comes to Maths and Physics. I graduated from the International Baccalaureate with a score of 41 out of 45, which is equivalent to AAA at A-Level. I scored 7 out of 7 in Physics HL and 6 out of 7 in Maths AA, which is one of the most challenging maths courses in the IB. Before that, I completed my IGCSEs with A* across all subjects.
